NOAH was designed for children who haven't learned to read yet. Instead of notes on a staff or keys on a piano, your child interacts with seven colorful animal characters:
Tap an animal and your child hears its note. It's intuitive, playful, and builds real musical understanding from the very first tap.
In the upper right corner of NOAH, you'll find a special octopus button. Press it and the octopus composes a short melody — a seven-note tune built from the same animal characters.
The melody appears in the composition module as smaller animal icons with up and down arrows. Your child can:
It's a real composition tool — not just a toy — designed to spark creativity while teaching the fundamentals of melody.
When a melody plays, the animal characters animate — your child can see which note is being played in real time. Two speed controls let them choose the pace: a rabbit for normal speed and a turtle for slow practice.
The slow playback lets your child follow along note by note, building confidence and developing their ear at their own pace.
When your child is ready, NOAH can reveal the letter names next to each animal play pad. Tap the ABC button in the upper left corner to show or hide the note names.
This bridges the gap between animal symbols and traditional music notation — a gentle introduction that builds real musical literacy without pressure.
NOAH isn't a generic kids' app. It was created by a music teacher who understands how young children actually learn music — through sound and play, not symbols and theory.
NOAH runs in your web browser. Use it on an iPad, Android tablet, phone, Mac, or PC. No app store download required — just open and play.
No ads, no in-app purchases, no data collection. NOAH is completely free and safe for your child to explore independently.
Your child isn't just tapping buttons — they're learning note recognition, pitch relationships, melody structure, and rhythm. Foundations that last a lifetime.
