PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: June 2026

Please read this Privacy Policy ("Policy") carefully before using the Little Composers applications, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services in any manner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree with any provision of this Policy, your sole and exclusive remedy is to cease use of the Services immediately.

1. NO PERSONAL INFORMATION IS COLLECTED

The Little Composers Applications are client-side, browser-only applications that operate entirely on your device. Little Composers ("we," "us," or "our") does not require users to register, create an account, provide a username or password, or submit any personal information in order to access or use the Services. We do not collect names, email addresses, telephone numbers, physical addresses, geolocation data, device identifiers, IP addresses, browsing history, or any other personally identifiable information.

2. NO COOKIES OR TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

The Services do not employ cookies, tracking pixels, web beacons, local storage objects, session storage, cache mechanisms, fingerprinting techniques, or any similar technologies for the purpose of collecting, storing, or transmitting user data. No data is persisted on Little Composers' servers as a result of your use of the Services.

3. NO ANALYTICS OR USAGE TRACKING

We do not track, record, monitor, or analyze any user activity within the Services. We do not measure or retain data relating to which app features are accessed, the duration of any session, the musical selections made, the number of interactions or taps by a child, button press events, error logs generated client-side, or any other behavioral metadata. Your use of the Services remains entirely private and unrecorded.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Little Composers website and applications may incorporate or reference resources hosted by third-party providers solely for design and formatting purposes, including but not limited to fonts and embedded content. Such third-party resources are provided as a convenience, and we do not control the data practices of those parties. The inclusion of third-party links or resources does not constitute an endorsement, affiliation, or assumption of responsibility by Little Composers regarding the privacy practices, content, or terms of service of such external providers.

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Services are specifically designed for young children and their caregivers and are intended for educational and entertainment purposes. The Services are not directed to children under the age of thirteen (13) in a manner that triggers obligations under the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 ("COPPA"), 15 U.S.C. § 6501 et seq., nor do we knowingly collect any personal information from children, regardless of age. Little Composers is committed to the protection of minors and takes reasonable measures to ensure that its Services present no risk of inappropriate data collection with respect to children.

6. DATA SECURITY

Because we do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information through the Services, there is no personal data held on Little Composers' servers capable of being breached, lost, stolen, intercepted, hacked, or otherwise compromised in transit or at rest. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we make no warranty that our overall security posture can never be penetrated and disclaim all liability relating to any actual or alleged data exposure incident.

7. NO WARRANTIES

The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any representations or warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, or absence of viruses or other harmful components. Little Composers does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of defects.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In no event shall Little Composers, its owners, operators, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, or assigns be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or other damages whatsoever—including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, software or hardware replacement costs, personal injury, or any other pecuniary or non-pecuniary loss—arising out of or relating to your use or inability to use the Services, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), product liability, or any other theory of liability, even if Little Composers has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Little Composers' aggregate liability for any and all claims relating to or arising from the Services exceed the nominal sum of one United States dollar (USD $1.00), and in no event shall it exceed zero (CAD $0.00), given that the Services are provided free of charge to all users.

9. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Little Composers and its respective affiliates and their officers, directors, employees, agents, and assigns from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, costs (including reasonable legal fees), and obligations arising out of or related to your use of the Services or your violation of this Policy.

10. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS

Little Composers reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, discontinue, or alter any aspect of the Services at any time and for any reason, with or without notice, and without liability to you or any other user.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

Little Composers may amend this Policy from time to time in its sole discretion. When we make revisions, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of any modifications constitutes your acceptance of such changes. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.

12. GOVERNING LAW AND FORUM

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the Province of British Columbia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Policy or the Services shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and you hereby irrevocably submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

13. SEVERABILITY AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT

If any provision of this Policy is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The foregoing constitutes the entire agreement between you and Little Composers with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings relating thereto.
